Which platforms can I import from?

You can import VODs directly from Twitch, YouTube, or upload any video file (MP4, MKV, MOV). Just paste the link or drag & drop.

Does Apogia use LLMs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Some analysis steps use language models, including Mistral, to understand and rank the moments in a video. A vision model (Qwen) also looks, in some cases, at still frames from your VOD: it runs in the European Union, either in France on OVHcloud AI Endpoints or in our own containers, on servers we rent in Europe. Apogia does not rely on an LLM alone: the analysis combines transcript, audio, visuals and other signals from the video. The models suggest clips and speed up making them. The final pick and the edit stay in your hands.

Is my content used to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Apogia does not use your videos, transcripts or clips to train LLMs or to build training datasets. The models analyze your content to suggest moments, nothing else. Only scores (numbers, no video, no text) may be used to improve detection, as stated in our terms of sale. Data sent to Mistral as part of the service is not used to train its models: that setting is turned off on our account. The model used for some analyses runs either on OVHcloud AI Endpoints, which neither stores nor reuses what it receives, or in our own containers, on servers we rent in Europe, which keep what they receive only for the analysis. Your personal data is processed in line with the GDPR and our privacy policy.

How is my data protected?

Your data is stored in Europe and the access tokens for your social accounts are encrypted. Videos imported from Twitch are deleted automatically when the analysis expires (30 days by default, more depending on your plan). Your clips stay yours until you delete them, and a file you uploaded yourself stays in your space until you delete your account. You can export or delete your account and data at any time from settings. The details are in our privacy policy.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Discovery plan lets you analyze one real, full stream every month, with no credit card. You move to a paid plan when you want to analyze more.

Question 6

Which languages are supported for subtitles?

Accepted Answer

Apogia uses Whisper for transcription, which supports 90+ languages. Subtitles are generated in your stream's original language.

Question 7

How does the vertical format work?

Apogia reframes your 16:9 clips to 9:16 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. It tracks faces and action to keep the focus right.

I record with OBS multi-track. Is that supported?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Apogia detects OBS multi-track audio and isolates your voice from game audio for a clean mix on every clip.

Can I post clips to social media?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can post your clips to Discord on every plan, free included. Publishing rules and TikTok, YouTube and Instagram need a paid plan: the Pro tier supports up to 10 rules and 200 posts per month.

Question 10

What counts as an analyzed stream hour?

Accepted Answer

Your quota is counted in hours of VOD analyzed, not in clips. A 3h VOD uses 3h, whether you cut 2 clips or 20 from it. On a paid plan, going over doesn't cut you off: the extra hours cost €1.99 each and land on your next invoice. Discovery has no overage: you wait for next month or move to a paid plan.

Question 11

I was here during the beta, do I get a discount?

Accepted Answer

The Founders offer is closed to new signups: it stays available to accounts created before its deadline, as long as their Discord account is linked to the Apogia server. If that's you, you keep 50% off for 12 months on monthly Creator or Pro, then move to the public price. It does not apply to Studio or to annual billing. Linking your Discord can happen at any time, but until it does you pay the normal price.
